  • Considered how demographic and structural change influence national income and income distribution, and also how they influence the political economy of government policy.

  • Measured the efficiency of coffee production and the degree to which restrictions on chemical inputs might reduce overall economic efficiency among coffee producers in Vietnam.

  • Primary researcher on Purdue University’s estimated total annual economic impact on Tippecanoe County and the State of Indiana.

  • Planned, designed, and developed websites for companies such as the Center for the Advancement of Foodservice Education (CAFE) and Belle Tourism International (BTI) (2007).

  • Designed and administered the E-Learning Management System of Wynn Las Vegas. This program handled all the training material for the pre-opening training of the Hotel (2003-2005).

  • Collaborated in the design and analysis of different research projects for the Department of Palliative Care at King’s College London (2003).

  • Assisted in the development of a computer processing system for East Timor's Ministry of Agriculture. This survey system handles agricultural and early warning data.

  • Conducted a training course on survey data processing systems for the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Statistics Directorate.

    PAN-AMERICAN SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE

January 1997 – December 2000

  • Developed a "how-to" guide for the implementation of ecotourism projects in Honduras. This work was a joint effort of the Honduran Ministry of Tourism, NGO’s, private sector, and academia.

  • Worked on multi-national teams with rural communities to help them reach better living conditions through different programs.

  • Helped to restore communities and the environment after Hurricane Mitch hit Honduras on 1998.

  • Field experience in forestry, natural resources, rural development, horticulture, agronomy, animal science, food technology, and dairy production.

  • Teaching assistant for physics, statistics, accounting, and agribusiness.
